About Us: RMJ AUTO CAR is a IMPORT EXPORT CAR AND SERVICE focused on import export and transport in cambodia, We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Job Description: As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining general ledger integrity, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. You will work closely with other teams to analyze financial data and provide insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. - Ensure compliance with accounting standardsand internal controls. - Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and journal entries. - Coordinate audits and assist with preparation of audit schedules. - Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve processes and profitability. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. - Supervise and mentor junior accountants and assist in their professional development. - Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required. - Prepare and submit monthly tax filings to the General Department of Taxation, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. - Maintain proper documentation and records related to tax filings and compliance. - Support year-end tax reporting and assist with corporate tax return preparation. - Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, particularly in tax-related matters. - Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and other applicable taxes. - Review and reconcile tax-related accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. - Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred: - Experience in ( Logistic Company, Car company, Import Export Trading Company) - Experience with tax preparation and compliance.
