The Travel & Tours department is the dedicated, end-to-end owner of all Travel & Tours product curation, implementation, and sales within Mad Monkey. This department is also responsible for the daily operations of a Madventures Travel & Tours desk in-house.. As the Travel & Tours Manager, you will work closely with the Regional Manager of Travel & Tours or the General Manager to ensure that all Madventures are aligned with Madventures goals and objectives. Your duties will include managing Tour Gurus, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that all Travel & Tours are safe and enjoyable for customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring Madventures performance and making recommendations for improvements to increase customer satisfaction and sales. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide excellent customer service by answering their queries and providing guests with information about all tours, travel and relevant details.. - Oversee the daily operations of the Madventures tour desk, ensuring the Madventures tour desk is operated for at least 12 hours a day, including recruitment - Handle customer complaints in relation to tours and travel, and resolve them promptly - Training of the Travel & Tour Gurus, and a strategy to increase sales - Record reports weekly with information requested by the regional tours and travel manager- - Stay updated with industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities and improve the competitiveness of Madventures tours. - Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and customer details for reporting purposes. - Develop and deliver training programs for Travel & Tour Gurus to enhance their knowledge and sales skills.
