Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of experience in managing IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining and troubleshooting IT equipment and services, including networking, wireless systems, CCTV, and virtual environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Wi-Fi Setup & Troubleshooting: Install, configure, and troubleshoot wireless access points, ensuring stable and secure network connectivity.
CCTV Installation & Management: Set up and maintain CCTV systems, including camera installation, configuration, and monitoring.
Router Configuration: Manage the configuration of routers, including Mikrotik and other vendor devices, for optimal performance.
Mikrotik Router Administration: Configure and manage Mikrotik routers for various networking tasks such as bandwidth management, firewall setup, and routing.
VLAN Setup & Maintenance: Design and manage VLANs to segment network traffic for better security and performance.
Virtual Machine (VM) Management: Assist in deploying and maintaining virtual machines in virtualized environments (such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
PC & Laptop Support: Provide troubleshooting and support for end-user hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Basic Network Management: Support LAN and WAN management, including switches, patch panels, and cabling.
Network Monitoring & Security: Monitor network performance and assist in maintaining network security.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on IT support experience.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of wireless networks and configuration.
Experience with CCTV systems and security camera software.
Basic router configuration skills, including Mikrotik routers.
Understanding of VLAN configuration.
Experience working with virtual machines (VM) and virtualization software.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware (PCs, laptops) and software issues.
