JOB DESCRIPTION: - Receive and review RFQs from requesters to ensure they have complete and clear information - Receive and record the RFQ to the database - Source and submit RFQ to suppliers as specifications and requirements of the requesters - Check and verify the information of the quotation from suppliers, such as description, specification, brand, model, minimum quantity, price, delivery terms, and delivery date of the goods/materials - Make the comparison of history purchasing prices and terms with the quotation - Negotiate with the supplier and clarify the reason of price and terms changes - Coordinating between supplier and requester to have some understanding of product, goods or material requested and providing concise information of quotation regarding their RFQ - Create and update information records in the SAP system for all types of overseas material purchases - Prepare weekly reports of pending RFQs - Prepare monthly reports of un-ordered quotations - Prepare monthly reports of ordered quotations within valid/invalid dates of quotations - Perform other tasks as assigned by the superior
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's Degree in Business administration or related business communication filed - At least 2 years of working experience in Oversea Purchasing/merchandising at relevant industries - Experience using SAP software or having experience working with large data transactions of any ERP system in a purchasing module. - Experience in purchasing of automotive and similar industry products/Goods - Proven team player with good business communication skills between suppliers, management, and peers - Good negotiation skills - Good writing and speaking in English - Have a positive attitude, honesty, and fast learning, - Open-minded and willing to learn.
