We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to oversee and drive sales operations across designated regions. Youโll lead a team of Sales Supervisors and field reps, develop aggressive go-to-market strategies, and be directly responsible for revenue growth, market expansion, and team development. This role demands strong leadership, deep market insight, and the ability to execute with precision.
#Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage regional sales operations to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
-Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with national objectives.
-Supervise and mentor Area Sales Managers, Sales Supervisors, and field sales teams.
-Monitor sales performance and market trends, and adjust strategies to maximize growth.
-Build strong relationships with key clients, retail chains, wholesalers, and distributors.
-Oversee new product introductions, promotional campaigns, and channel initiatives in the region.
-Conduct field visits and market audits to ensure effective market execution and brand visibility.
-Analyze sales data, prepare regional performance reports, and present actionable insights to senior management.
-Identify growth opportunities and drive penetration in underdeveloped areas.
-Ensure team compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and sales processes.
-Collaborate with logistics, marketing, and finance to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
-Recruit, onboard, and train sales talent in the region.
#Job Requirements:
-Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a regional leadership role.
-Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and driving revenue growth.
-Deep knowledge of the food & beverage industry, especially retail, wholesale, and traditional trade channels.
-Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
-Fluent in English and the local language(s), both written and verbal.
-Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
#Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
-Experience working with national distributors, modern trade accounts, and local markets.
-Familiarity with demand planning, territory management, and promotional execution.
