S/He will be responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising process, from product selection and procurement to inventory management and sales analysis. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: - Identify and analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to guide strategic product selection. - Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring a diverse and high-quality product assortment. - Utilize effective negotiation skills to optimize product margins by securing favorable pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers. - Implement measures to ensure the procurement of high-quality products, aligning with brand standards and customer expectations. 𝟮. 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: - Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory. - Monitor and analyze sales data to identify fast-moving and slow-moving products, providing recommendations for restocking or clearance. - Work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise. - Utilize forecasting tools for proactive inventory adjustments and stock replenishments based on anticipated demand. 𝟯. 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: - Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling product assortments aligned with brand strategy and customer preferences. - Conduct regular data-driven analysis of product performance to refine assortments, ensuring a dynamic and appealing product mix. - Develop and execute seasonal assortment plans, staying aligned with market trends and customer expectations. 𝟰. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆: - Develop pricing strategies that balance competitive positioning with profitability goals. - Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer behavior to adjust pricing strategies as needed. - Implement dynamic pricing models, responding to changes in market conditions to maintain competitiveness. 𝟱. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: - Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions, sales, and marketing campaigns for enhanced product visibility and increased sales. - Provide valuable product knowledge and insights to support the creation of effective marketing materials. - Develop initiatives to actively engage customers through promotions, fostering brand loyalty and driving sales. 𝟲. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure merchandise strategies align with overall business objectives. - Provide training and guidance to team members, enhancing their product knowledge and merchandising skills for improved performance. - Foster open and effective communication channels across teams, promoting a collaborative work environment. - Gather and integrate feedback from various teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in merchandise strategies and execution. 𝟳. 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀. 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗘 - Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or a related field. - Proven at least 3 years’ experience as a Senior Merchandise, preferably in the fashion or eye-wear industry.
