Senior Officer, Purchasing

JOB SUMMARY: As a Senior Officer, Procurement, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing procurement activities for all marketing and promotional materials used within our shopping malls and supermarkets. This includes ensuring that all POSM meets quality standards, is delivered on time, and aligns with brand guidelines. You will also manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support effective campaign execution. JOB DESCRIPTION: • POSM Sourcing & Procurement: Identify and source appropriate POSM materials such as banners, signage, displays, and other in-store promotional materials. • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and manage supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. • Budget Control: Work within allocated budgets, monitoring spends against forecasts and ensuring procurement activities align with financial goals. • Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured materials meet brand standards and specifications, maintaining high quality in both design and functionality. • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to understand requirements, support campaigns, and ensure smooth implementation of POSM in retail spaces. QUALIFICATION: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or any related field. • Experienced with at least 3 years in procurement, preferably with exposure to POSM or marketing materials in the retail or FMCG sector. • Strong in negotiation skills, able to build and maintain supplier relationships. • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines. • Familiar with procurement processes, including tendering, vendor evaluation, and cost control.
