System Infrastructure Engineer: To plays a critical role in ensuring successful deployment and ongoing support of IT infrastructure for clients such as Designing and building solutions, Technology implementation and maintaining and troubleshooting, contributing to the company's success, and client satisfaction. Description: • Assessing current systems to secure the best practices and balance by complying with federal policies and procedures. • Understanding system administration and how network hardware and technologies work. • Sharing knowledge across organizations and participating in client projects • Prepare documentation and guides that can be used across teams with varying levels of technical knowledge. • Responding effectively and speedily to any problems. • Maintaining a professional demeanor with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities: • Designing and improving projects for implementation. • Installing and maintaining operating environments. • Administering automated workflow tools, and server visualization technologies (i.e., VMware, Red Hat Virtualization, Nutanix or Oracle VM). • Deploy, Support, and assist in Design of on-premises and Cloud Windows infrastructure solutions. • Set-up, maintain and implement user logins and privileges assuring proper security procedures are in place to protect the integrity of the system. • Develop automation, processes, and tools designed to make responding to and resolving incidents simpler and more robust. • Managing the host environment to ensure proper tuning and sufficient capacity. • Coordinates appropriate service outage. • Providing training and support. • Updating any software and hardware were necessary. • Documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response. KNOWLEDGE: • Knowledge and advanced understanding of supporting systems in enterprise infrastructure. • Knowledge of and ability to manage and support Microsoft server operating systems; 2016, 2019, 2022 and Linux System. • Understanding of detached storage solutions • Understanding of basic networking. • Understanding overall information security is the best practice. • Skilled with managing and configuring virtualized hosts for Hyper-V and/or VMWare. • Ability to provide great quality customer service. • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks. • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, business units and vendors. • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. • Understanding and adapting to the company’s culture and environment. TASK: • Server and Storage System (SAN, NAS, Object...)
