Job Title: Accountant
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia Company: AVIK Cambodia
Salary: $700 - $1,000 (Depending on experience and language skills)
Job Overview: AVIK Cambodia is looking for a skilled Accountant to join our growing team in Phnom Penh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Handle accounts payable and receivable. • Perform bank reconciliations. • Ensure compliance with Cambodian tax laws and regulations. • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. • Coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed. • Manage payroll and other financial obligations. • Provide financial reports and data to support business decision-making.
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Proven experience as an Accountant (2+ years preferred). • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). • Good knowledge of Cambodian tax laws and regulations. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Preferred: • Knowledge of Korean (spoken and written) is an advantage and may increase salary offer.
