We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Reporting directly to the Cambodia Regional Manager and Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and accuracy of our operations, supporting the successful delivery of a range of Telecommunications/Wireless projects. Key Responsibilities:
• Payment Processing: Manage internal and external payment processes to ensure timely and accurate payments. • Bank Reconciliation: Regularly prepare and reconcile bank statements to maintain f inancial accuracy. • Cash Flow Management: Assist in the preparation of monthly cash flow reports. • Transaction Booking: Accurately record payment and received payment transactions in the accounting system. • Reporting: Generate daily and weekly payment reports for management review. • QuickBooks Posting: Ensure all business transactions are posted in QuickBooks with accuracy and timeliness. • Payment Follow-Up: Follow up on payment arrangements and ensure collections are completed on schedule. • Collection and Posting: Review collection reports and post daily bank transfers into the system. • Month-End Closing: Support month-end closing procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete. • Cash Book Maintenance: Maintain the cash book in Excel, ensuring it reflects accurate f inancial data. • Petty Cash Management: Prepare Petty Cash Reports and ensure they align with cash count sheets. • Accounts Payable: Prepare and review Accounts Payable aging details, ensuring proper sign-offs. • Filing and Documentation: Organize and maintain financial documents for easy accessibility. • Customer Payment Management: Ensure timely customer payments and follow up on overdue accounts. • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to account delinquency, in collaboration with management. • Cross-Department Collaboration: Foster effective and cooperative working relationships with other departments. • Other Duties: Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the manager. Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related role. • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks. • Strong knowledge of Cambodia Financial Reporting Standards. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
