Who we are:
Anti Social Hours Co LTD operates Garage Sale (restaurant and bar) and TicTic (alternative, fun, super cool concept bar over three floors). We serve great food, high-end cocktails, and offer an eclectic mix of music, movies, and experiences. We’re looking for a dedicated Bartender / Bar back who will be an integral part of our team, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth operations behind the bar.
Bar back Role:
We are seeking a motivated individual with at least 1 year of experience in the bar industry. You will be one of the faces of our bar, assisting and helping customers, maintaining a clean environment at all times, ensuring the space is smart, presentable and of the utmost hygiene and keeping the bar running efficiently. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to grow with our company as we continue to expand. You’ll be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, ensure a high standard of cleanliness, restock supplies, and assist the bartenders during busy periods and ideally learn from them so you can eventually learn to make and serve all of our cocktails too. With time, we want someone who can develop their skills and grow into more advanced roles within our ambitious company.
Barback Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar, ensuring it runs smoothly during service. * Restock ingredients, glassware, and other bar supplies as needed. * Help with preparing garnishes and basic cocktail components. * Ensure customers have an enjoyable experience by being attentive and courteous. * Support the bartenders during peak periods and step in when needed. * Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. * Show initiative and have a willingness to learn more about cocktails, bar management, and customer service. * Communicate with the bar manager and team to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
* 1+ year of experience in the food and beverage environment or service and cleaning area. * Fluent in Khmer and strong English speaking skills * Excellent customer service skills and a strong communicator. * A passion for the bar industry and a desire to grow with the company. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure. * Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
Benefits:
* 225$ per month starting salary (negotiable depending on skillset). * 6 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift. * 18 days of paid holiday per year. * Public holidays off: Pchum Ben & Khmer New Year.
