Scope of works:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business objectives.
- Monitor cash flow, expenditures, and cost controls to optimize financial performance.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies for financial compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and statements.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for management decisions.
- Support internal financial policies and procedures to maintain financial discipline.
- Lead and supervise junior finance staff, providing guidance and performance oversight.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with operational activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of port logistics or supply chain finance is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
