Job Summary: The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining smooth administrative processes. They will act as a liaison between the Front Office staff and management, ensuring guest satisfaction and operational efficiency in line with the hotel’s standards.
1. Guest Service Excellence - Greet and welcome all guests with professionalism and warmth. - Handle guest complaints, requests, and inquiries promptly and effectively. - Ensure the team delivers a seamless check-in, check-out, and concierge experience. - Monitor guest feedback and take corrective actions to improve satisfaction.
2. Team Supervision - Supervise, train, and mentor Front Office staff, including Receptionists and Bellboys. - Prepare work schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times. - Conduct daily briefings to update the team on arrivals, VIPs, and special requests.
3. Operational Efficiency - Oversee room assignments, check-in/check-out processes, and billing accuracy. - Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards. - Maintain communication with housekeeping and other departments to address room statuses and guest requests.
4. Financial Accountability - Assist with cash handling and reconciliation at the front desk. - Ensure accurate processing of payments and compliance with billing procedures. - Support the Front Office Manager in achieving revenue and upselling targets.
5. Administrative Tasks: - Prepare reports on room occupancy, guest trends, and team performance. - Monitor and replenish front office supplies and equipment. - Ensure proper usage of property management systems (PMS).
