Job Purpose: The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and support as needed. - Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement. - Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. - Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations. - Prepare and submit tax filings and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. - Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships, including the review and approval of payments. - Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance and implementing necessary changes. - Provide financial analysis and support to management, assisting in decision-making and strategic planning. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. - Other tasks as assigned by line manager from time to time. Job Requirement: - At least holding a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is preferable). - At least 5 years of experience in finance management role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. - Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to lead and motivate a team.
