JOB DESCRIPTION:
The main objective of a Software Sales Executive is to sell software solutions to businesses or individual clients by identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions that address those needs.
1. JOB RESPOSIBLE
A. Prospecting and Lead Generation
• Identify and research potential clients through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, referrals).
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
• Researching and understanding target industries and customer needs.
B. Needs Assessment
• Conduct discovery calls or meetings to understand the client’s pain points, business goals, and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., pre-sales engineers, product specialists) to design customized solution.
C. Solution Selling
• Present software products or services in a way that highlights their value and ROI for the client.
• Demonstrate software features through live demos or presentations.
• Address objections and provide clear answers to technical or pricing-related questions.
D. Closing Deals
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure sales
• Ensure smooth handover to implementation or customer success teams’ post-sale
E. Relationship Management
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and upselling opportunities.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients during the sales process
F. Market Research and Competitor Analysis
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
• Provide feedback to the product team based on client insights and market demands.
G. Sales Targets and Reporting
• Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Forecasting sales and providing accurate sales reports.
• Analyzing sales data and identifying areas for improvement.
2. OTHER TASKS
• Social Media Promotion: Regularly share and promote T-O products and solutions on social media platforms to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
• Marketing Collateral Development: Assist in creating sales-enablement materials such as product sheets, presentations, case studies, and other promotional content to support customer engagements.
• Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay informed and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Reporting and Performance Analysis: Prepare reports on sales activities, track key performance metrics, and analyze results to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize sales efforts.
