Job Overview: The Social Media Specialist will manage and enhance the company’s social media presence, driving brand visibility, engagement, and growth across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, creativity in content development, and expertise in data analysis to optimize social media strategies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Social Media Strategy Development: o Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business goals and marketing campaigns. o Identify target audiences and establish a plan to engage them effectively on different platforms. 2. Content Creation and Curation: o Create engaging and shareable content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, tailored to different platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok). o Curate relevant content from third-party sources that aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives. o Collaborate with the design team to ensure cohesive and visually appealing content. 3. Community Management: o Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. o Foster a positive community experience and engage with followers to build brand loyalty. o Manage social media groups or communities and initiate conversations to encourage user-generated content. 4. Performance Monitoring and Analytics: o Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, such as engagement rates, reach, followers’ growth, click-through rates, and conversions. o Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) to gain insights and optimize content strategies. o Prepare and present performance reports to management and recommend improvements. 5. Social Media Advertising: o Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Sponsored Content). o Monitor and optimize ad performance to maximize ROI and achieve campaign goals. 6. Trend Analysis and Research: o Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms. o Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and areas for improvement. o Recommend new strategies to stay ahead of competitors and enhance brand presence. 7. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: o Work closely with marketing, PR, content, and customer service teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand representation. o Coordinate with influencers, bloggers, and brand ambassadors for collaborations and partnerships. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or in a similar role at least 1 years. • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.
