◉ Overview:
As the Purchaser and Stock Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement and inventory management functions within the LOKA-OP Department. This role involves working closely with the purchasing team to maintain adequate stock levels and contribute to the overall efficiency of operations.
◉ Responsibilities:
Purchasing Support:
■ Collaborate with the purchasing team to identify reliable suppliers and negotiate terms.
■ Assist in the procurement of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitions.
Stock Control:
■ Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demand.
■ Implement stock control measures to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Order Processing:
■ Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation.
■ Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
Supplier Communication:
■ Communicate with suppliers for product information, pricing, and order status updates.
■ Address any issues or discrepancies with suppliers in a timely manner.
Data Management:
■ Update and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier information.
■ Generate reports on stock status and purchasing activities.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
■ Work closely with other departments to understand their inventory needs.
■ Coordinate with logistics and sales teams to optimize stock movements.
Continuous Improvement:
■ Identify opportunities for process improvement within the purchasing and stock control functions.
■ Propose and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.
◉ Qualifications:
■ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
■ Proven experience in purchasing or stock control roles is a plus.
■ Strong organizational and analytical skills.
■ Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
■ Proficient in using inventory management software.
