Responsibilities: • Be an ambassador of the Front Office and the hotel both within and outside the workplace. • Greet and farewell guests at all times with a smile, warm attitude, and use of their names. • Offer a warm welcome to all guests and ensure that they enjoy their stay by providing the finest personal service. • Personally, greet guests, offer welcome amenities, escort them, and provide orientation. • Be familiar with all hotel facilities, room rates, categories, availability, promotions, and outlet operation hours. • Attend to all guests approaching the front desk, handling procedures for check-in/check-out, inquiries, key handling, telephone, and all related matters, while respecting hotel standards and procedures. • Keep the working area and lobby area clean and well-maintained at all times. • Respect the privacy of guests and the confidentiality of information. • Manage any guest complaints in a professional manner by resolving them and ensuring the guest is satisfied, while recording the incident. • Call the supervisor or manager for advice in serious cases or if approval is required. • Be aware of and report all guest comments or complaints. • Maintain accurate Guest History and register all recurring guests. • Check arrival lists and block all rooms according to guest requests and needs, as advised by the Front Office Supervisor. • Be aware of all VIPs visiting or staying in the hotel. • Ensure that all assigned and blocked rooms requiring special set-ups are accurately displayed in the PMS and available to Housekeeping and other departments in due time. • Handle guest files, folios, immigration, financial, and audit procedures, ensuring they are respected and completed. • Handle cashier's closer and ensure a complete handover between shifts. • Check departure lists and ensure check-out times are respected and reallocated in arrivals in the PMS. • Strictly respect the room keys, outlet keys, and section keys handover procedures. • Respect schedules, terms, and deadlines as agreed with management. Requirements: • High school education or above, or an associate degree in hospitality, or a bachelor's degree in business administration or hospitality is advantageous • 0-2 years' experience in a similar role is accepted. • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language. • Good computer skills, with knowledge of booking systems, both in-house and online. • Hands-on experience in taking credit/debit card payments over the phone and in-person. • Ability to work effectively and contribute to a team. • Self-motivated and energetic. Must be well-presented and professionally groomed.
