Salary is negotiable. The MEP Resident Engineer is leading the delivery of MEP works. He will provide general and technical assistance to supervise personnel, check MEP works complies with company’s standards and ensure we meet deadlines. Major Accountabilities Project Coordination Coordinate with Project Manager, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress Site Operations - Work alongside other site managers in managing the delivery of MEP works and ensure that the works are carried out based on Coordinated shop drawings Supervise and manage the MEP team in the achievements of targets. Coordinate - the preparation of as-built drawings - Monitor and manage the delivery of materials and services. Ensure the QA/QC procedures are in place, Material Inspection Reports are duly signed off by the Engineer - Coordinate the links between MEP Civil and other trades. Timely availability of material, method statement, workforce and supervision Implement Testing and Commissioning program as per the project schedule Quality, Compliance and Safety - Prepare Operation and Maintenance Manuals and Training sessions Implement quality control procedures, site safety and works carried out at site - Carry out weekly site inspection and report progress - Monitor sub-contractors and Direct Contractors Qualifications and Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience. - Technical expertise and understanding of all mechanical and electrical systems that support a Housing Project and how they interrelate with each other - Experience in infrastructure related MEP works, such as underground drainage, electrical trenches, transformers, etc - Experience of MEP works in precast concrete sections would be an advantage - Ability to manage and execute all the essential duties, good communication skills, organizational ability, and proficiency with computer applications such - AutoCAD and MS Office - Demonstrate personal attributes to manage a team of 15-20 workers
