Job Duties and Responsibilities: Vision & Strategic Leadership: - Develop and articulate a compelling long-term vision and strategic roadmap for the entire group, ensuring alignment and synergy across all subsidiary companies. This includes conducting thorough market research, anticipating industry trends, and identifying new opportunities for expansion and diversification. - Oversees the business managers for the parent company and works closely with them to make strategic decisions for the group. - Fosters a collaborative environment where the business managers of the subsidiaries can share knowledge and best practices. - Strategically allocating resources (financial, human, technological) across the group to maximize return on investment and support each company's growth plans. Growth & Performance: - Champion a culture of continuous improvement and profitable growth across the group. - Drive organic growth initiatives within existing subsidiaries, while actively seeking and evaluating strategic acquisition and partnership opportunities to expand the group's reach, capabilities, and market share. Financial Performance & Risk Management: - Oversee the group's financial health with a keen eye for detail. - Ensure responsible financial management practices, including comprehensive budgeting, meticulous cost control, and adherence to sound investment strategies that maximize shareholder value. - Ensuring the overall financial health and profitability of the group. This involves monitoring financial reports, identifying areas for cost-saving or revenue growth across the companies. - Sets financial targets and oversees the overall financial performance of the group. - Allocates resources and capital effectively across the different companies. - Manages risk across the group, ensuring all companies adhere to legal and regulatory guidelines. Subsidiary Management: - Provide strong leadership and strategic guidance to the business manager and executive teams of each subsidiary. - Foster open communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the group to leverage collective expertise and maximize overall performance. Stakeholder Engagement & Public Image: - Acts as the public face of the group, representing it in meetings with investors, industry leaders, and government officials. - Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, board members, industry partners, government officials, and the communities we operate in. - Proactively communicate the group's vision, strategies, and performance, fostering trust and collaboration. - Communicates the group's vision, strategy, and performance to stakeholders. - Maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders across the group's industries. - Articulate the group's values, vision, and commitment to sustainable growth to a wide audience. Corporate Governance: - Champion the highest standards of corporate governance. - Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, implement robust risk management frameworks, and foster a culture of transparency, ethics, and social responsibility within the entire group. Talent Management: - Attract, develop, and retain top talent across the group. - Build a high-performing leadership team with diverse skill sets and experiences. - Implement talent development programs to cultivate a strong bench of future leaders and foster a collaborative and inclusive company culture. Additional Responsibilities: - Identifies and pursues growth opportunities for the group. - Ensures best practices in corporate governance are implemented across all the companies. - Having a strong understanding of the industries in which the group operates, and the broader economic landscape. - Think strategically across multiple industries and business models. - Delegate effectively and empower subsidiary business managers while maintaining overall control. - Foster a collaborative culture that transcends individual companies. Job Requirement: - Hold at least Master Degree in Business Administration or related disciplines, with minimum 10 years of working experiences in C-suite level or top management position. - Proven track record of success as a CEO or senior executive in a large, multi-divisional company, with demonstrable experience in leading diverse business units. - Deep understanding of the design and construction, food & beverage, bird nest, media, property management and other sectors (is a key advantage), with a keen eye for identifying emerging trends and disruptive technologies. - A strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic business landscape. - Exceptional strategic thinking and planning capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. - Experience in utilizing data analytics to identify opportunities, measure performance, and optimize business strategies. - Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, inspire, and build high-performing teams across diverse cultures and backgrounds. The ability to delegate effectively, empower others, and foster a culture of ownership is crucial. - Demonstrated experience in driving profitable growth through organic initiatives, and strategic partnerships. - A track record of exceeding financial targets and creating shareholder value is essential. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. - The ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to a wide range of audiences, both internally and externally. - Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial reporting and analysis. - Experience in working with complex financial models, managing budgets, and implementing effective financial controls is required. - Executive presence with the ability to command respect and build trust with diverse stakeholders. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of integrity, a commitment to ethical business practices, and a genuine passion for building a sustainable and successful future for the group.
