JOB PURPOSE: A facility officer is responsible for • Liaise and be able to communicate with teachers and other staff requesting facility support. • Be able to work independently based on the plan provided by the supervisor. • Hand-on responsibilities such as moving tables and chairs and setting up booths • Ensure the cleanliness of the building, including toilets, by monitoring the performance of the cleaner. • Daily check and maintain the pool. • Liaise with other staff at the preschool to ensure smooth coordination of facility-related activities. • Ensure seamless facility operations. • Manage traffic flow within the facility premises during the drop-off and pick-up periods and events. • Oversee the campus by ensuring the safety and well maintain of the facilities. • Monitor and control the building gate, ensuring proper access control. • Conduct routine checks to ensure all electrical devices are turned off after working hours, contributing to energy conservation efforts and safety protocols. JOB REQUIREMENTS (a) Academic Education / Training / Experience • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., facilities management, engineering, architecture) or at least finish high school. • Able to communicate in English. • Capable of writing emails, PowerPoint presentations, and simple excel spreadsheets. • Physical capability to handle manual tasks and operate basic tools and equipment. • Be available to fulfil weekend duties as required. • Working hours are 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, with Saturday off. (b) Personal Attributes • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines. • Flexibility to work weekends and irregular hours as needed.
