Finance Manager (Work Location at Poipet City)

Prepares Complete Financial Statements Monthly: • Compile and prepare comprehensive financial statements on a monthly basis, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data to provide an accurate representation of the dealership's financial position. Interprets Financial Statements and Daily Operating Control (DOC): • Regularly interpret financial statements and daily operating control reports to identify developing trends and potential areas for improvement. • Provide insights and recommendations to dealership management based on financial analysis. Participates in Financial Forecasting: • Collaborate with dealership management to prepare short- and long-term financial forecasts, including revenue projections, expense budgets, and cash flow forecasts. • Assist in strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations. Provides Detailed Financial and Management Reports: • Supply department managers & COO with detailed financial and management reports, including variance analysis, budget performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs). • Facilitate informed decision-making by department heads through clear and actionable financial insights. Maintains Cash Management System: • Develop and maintain an effective cash management system that forecasts cash funds and makes recommendations for the profitable use of excess cash. • Optimize cash flow to support operational needs while maximizing returns on surplus cash. Directs Assessment of Depreciation Rates and Reviews General Ledger: • Oversee the assessment of depreciation rates applied to capital assets to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Review the general ledger and scheduled accounts, noting any unusual entries and conducting investigations as necessary. Ensures Compliance and Coordinates Audit Processes: • Ensure compliance with all applicable government finance regulations, including tax laws and reporting requirements. • Coordinate the annual audit (or review) process and physical inventory counts, liaising with auditors and stakeholders to facilitate smooth and accurate procedures. Administers Loss Review Program and Maintains Loss Reserves: • Administer a loss review program to assess and mitigate contingent liabilities and trade receivables. • Maintain loss reserves in accordance with accounting principles and dealership policies. Insurance Renewals and Office Personnel Oversight: • Meet with the dealer to evaluate all insurance renewals, ensuring adequate coverage and cost-effectiveness. • Ensure that all office personnel are using proper accounting procedures and maintaining accurate records and analyses. Improves Data Integrity and Information Reporting: • Continually strive to improve data integrity and information reporting throughout the dealership, implementing best practices and technological solutions where applicable. • Foster a culture of accuracy, transparency, and accountability in financial reporting. Attends Managers Meetings: • Participate in managers meetings to provide financial insights, updates, and recommendations to dealership leadership.
