The waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service in an Italian restaurant, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and managing payments.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting Customers: Welcome and seat guests, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
Order Management: Accurately take food and beverage orders using a POS system or by memorization.
Food Service: Deliver meals and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met.
Customer Interaction: Address customer inquiries about menu items, ingredients, and pricing; provide recommendations.
Payment Processing: Prepare checks, process payments (cash and credit), and return change as necessary.
Table Maintenance: Clear used dishes and reset tables efficiently.
Collaboration: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays.
Positive Attitude: A friendly demeanor that enhances the dining experience for guests.
Working time 10:30am to 10pm (2hours 30mins break after 2pm)
